Where are all the people who collect and/or use antique woodworking tools? I'm
a collector who just read this website for the first time and was surprised
and a bit disappointed to find nothing about antique tools. What's up?

-As far as I'm aware the charter of this group is woodworking, not
antiquing. Hence rec.WOODWORKING. If you have questions, or contributions that you'd like to make please do
so. There are plenty of folks with interests in working wood with "old
tools" here, myself included. Antique collectors are somewhere in the alt. hierarchy. -If you check out just about any post with the word 'neander' or
'neanderthal', that's a good place to start. Basically, this is a woodworking website, so just about anything relating
to woordowkring is discussed here.... Including antique woodworking tools. If you've got information, please
post it. If you've got questions, post them too. There are several people on the
net that are *very* knowledgable about antique tools.
