I own the machine, and it has planed about 200 bd ft of cypress, oak and cherry so far and I have not turned over the blades yet, but there is a nuance to the machine, its main "arbor" for lack of a better word, nut comes loose. It makes a hell of a racket, and can ruin the belt. It may be that delta has fixed the problem on new production. It would take me forever to describe what to do, but search the posts in the last 6 months or so for the details on the fix...a little bit of lock tite on the nut (or in my case, I used a lockwasher) fixes the issue.
