Jet vs. Delta

Can some please comment as what their experience has been in the quality of Delta woodworking tools vs. that of Jet.

I am looking to purchase some woodworking tools and have not decided which of these tools gives you the most bang for the buck.

---------------------

-Jet tools are a very close copy of Delta, and quite a bit cheaper. If you are a little strapped for cash, go with the Jet. I have a buddy that owns one, and likes it. I have a Delta Unisaw. They are close in quality, but the Delta is a little better, and you also get the name brand. Not that a name brand means much, though.

-You'll find most people are generally satisfied with both Delta and Jet, and some people have had problems with both as well.

You are going to have to be a little more specific. Both companies offer a wide variety of tools at a wide variety of price points. A
$1500 Delta will beat a $500 Jet every time!

But please, before you post again, learn to use DejaNews
(http://www.dejanews.com/home_ps.shtml) Power Searching for old posts. There are hundreds of posts just in the last few months comparing Delta and Jet products.
