Miniature table saws...Questions

I've been looking into purchasing one of the miniature table saws for cutting really tiny wooden parts for some models I'm building. I'm looking for opinions from those in the group who may own, or have used one. So far I've narrowed my choices to either the Microlux 4 inch table saw, sold locally thru Micro-Mark,
(approx $329...ouch!!) or the Jarmac 4 inch, sold thru Penn State Industries. (approx $179) Both of these saws have tilting arbors, rip fences, mitre guages etc, and are American made. Or I could attempt to buy an older Dremel saw from Ebay, but I understand that drive belts for these saws are now impossible to get.

Experiences? Opinions? Other choices?

I'm scaring the crap out of myself trying to cut pieces 1/4 by 1/4 by 3 inches long on any of the machinery I currently own.

Don't know how many of these pieces you need but why not just buy some 1/4" square "dowels" and cut off 3" long pieces with a fine tooth dovetail saw? I saw 1/4" square hardwood dowels at the new Lowes in Netcong not so long ago. You could buy an awful lot of it for the price of a new specialty saw.
