does anybody have any experience with the Rigid line of tools, mainly the
planer and jointer. Are they decent or not worth the time and money for a
weekend woodworker. Opinions are appreciated.

-I've heard very good things about both their planer and jointer.
Plus Ridgid has a lifetime guarantee on any Ridgid tool you buy
there. Thinking of getting that jointer myself. -The planer is nothing short of perfect really. Ok well maybe not. I wish it
was 70 inches instead of 13 - have a ridgid ras, planer and just bought a lathe. had no prob. with
any of them. Just ordered planer knives from ridgidparts.com (the big
orange borg cant seem to keep them in stock) they showed up 2 days later.
