Rockwell/Delta TS

I'm thinking of looking at several used tablesaws - Rockwell 9" tablesaws that seem to be contractor style belt drive type. I'm presuming that Rockwell is equivalent to Delta in the TS wars, but I haven't seen modern saws that use 9" blades.

Any advice on if these would be good choices, presuming the wear and tear factor is OK? Is the 9" blade thing just a difference in how to rate the size, or will I need to find 9" blades, or use the available 8" ones?

---------------------

They are one in the same but not in the same time period. Rockwell bought Delta a long time ago. Rockwell later, relatively recent in time, sold off the woodworking tool buisness. Rockwell as far as woodworking tools split into Porter Cable and Delta. Delta makes stationary tools and still has most parts for Rockwell stationary tools. Porter Cable makes hand held power tools.

Rockwell 9 inch contractor saw are nice. 10" blades are much more common now. You can find 9" blades with out much problems.
