Is there a web site that explains what each wood working tool can do
with pictures and maybe points out the better products? I sometimes see
a tool mentioned, search for it on the web, and usually just get prices
with maybe a small picture.

www.onlinetoolreviews.com - I can't recall John Lucas's site name...woodshopdemos.com, I think. And
Jeff Gorman has a ton of stuff, almost all clearly and neatly explained, well
written, fun, etc. I've got his old site name, which no longer exists. He
changed it recently: I thought I'd noted it. Ah. http://www.amgron.clara.net/ Those are two of the best. And I'd like to know where John finds his models.
