New To Wood Working!

I'm new to working with wood. I want to know if you can help me out with free blue prints on how to build different things web sites. Also, I would like to know where I can find anything on how to teach me more on other things.

---------------------

-You need to be more specific on plan requests, as projects can range anywhere from a yoyo to a dining room set to a sailboat. Also, before you ask, try a search engine, you'll be surprised at how much you can find with little effort. You can find a zillion books and videos at amazon.com. As far as instruction, check with your local high schools and vocational schools, as many offer evening classes for very reasonable fees. You can post another question here to see if there are any woodworking clubs in your area.

-this is a woodturning group, which is kind of specialized woodworking, but there's another group - rec.woodworking - that is general woodworking. I'd suggest lurking there for a couple of weeks then posting questions you think of. A lot of the stuff there is fluff, that is only marginally related to ww, but much is helpful. Also, there's a fellow called Jack of All Trades who regularly posts the URLs to web sites with plans. Check dejanews for them. Just do a search on his name. (http://www.deja.com)
